This talent is designed for frontline fighters who thrive in the thick of combat, rewarding players who position themselves in the most dangerous spots on the battlefield. At rank 3, a 16% damage reduction that activates automatically when surrounded makes you significantly harder to kill during the chaotic multi-enemy encounters that define Windrose's toughest content.

Outnumbered layers beautifully with Just a Flesh Wound's melee damage reduction, creating compounding defenses against the enemies most likely to surround you. Add Pain Tolerance from Tier 2, which increases damage reduction as your health drops, and you become extraordinarily tanky at low health while surrounded. The Conquistador's Armor set enhances this playstyle with additional defensive bonuses, while You Will Answer for This generates Temporal Health from the hits you are absorbing, effectively turning incoming damage into a regenerating shield. Rank 3 is strongly recommended because the jump from 8% to 16% is substantial. Sniper builds that stay far from enemies should skip this talent entirely, as the proximity requirement will rarely be met. Pair Outnumbered with Stout Frame for a larger health pool and Flawless Defence for reduced block costs, creating a character that can hold a position indefinitely against waves of melee attackers.
