Wooden Plank

Wooden Plank is a processed building material crafted at the Workbench by refining raw Wood. It is a staple construction resource used in both land-based building projects and ship construction. Unlike the scavenged Planks found at shipwrecks, Wooden Planks are produced reliably on demand.

Craft Wooden Planks at the Workbench using 5 Wood per plank. Since Wood is the most plentiful resource in the game, mass-producing Wooden Planks is simply a matter of chopping enough trees. Setting up a tree-farming circuit near your Workbench makes this process highly efficient.

Wooden Planks are consumed in large quantities during building construction, serving as wall panels, flooring, and structural supports. They are also a key material in ship construction and repair. Because building and shipbuilding projects can require dozens of planks at once, crafting them in bulk batches of 20 or more is recommended.
