Spinning Wheel

The Spinning Wheel converts raw Flax Fiber into Linen Fabric, a key textile material used in armor crafting, ship construction, and various other recipes. Without a Spinning Wheel, access to fabric-based armor and equipment is impossible, making it a critical early-to-mid game station.

Linen Fabric is a core ingredient at the Armor and Clothing Workshop for producing light and medium armor sets, including the Flibustier's Attire, Marksman's Rig, and Tracker's Leathers. It is also used in sail production at the Shipwright's Workshop and in various Workbench recipes. Demand for Linen Fabric remains high throughout the game.

Build the Spinning Wheel once you begin harvesting Flax and place it near your Armor and Clothing Workshop for efficient material flow. Keep a healthy stockpile of Flax Fiber to avoid production bottlenecks. The Spinning Wheel pairs naturally with the Tanning Rig, as many armor recipes require both Linen Fabric and Tanned Leather.
