Executioner's Aim is a Tier 1 Crusher talent that boosts Critical Chance by 3%, 9%, or 15% when using two-handed melee weapons. Critical hits with heavy weapons are among the most satisfying moments in Windrose combat, and this talent ensures they happen with meaningful regularity. At max rank, a 15% critical hit chance bonus is enormous, meaning roughly one in every six or seven swings will land as a devastating critical strike. Given that two-handed weapons already deal high base damage per hit, each critical multiplier produces spectacular damage numbers.

The synergy between Executioner's Aim and the Crusher's damage-amplification toolkit is exceptional. Bonecrusher increases crude damage on every hit, and when those hits become critical strikes, the combined output is staggering. Massive adds flat two-handed weapon damage that also gets multiplied on crits. At Tier 2, Berserk's low-health damage bonus compounds with critical strikes for truly massive single-hit spikes, while Dominating Presence's kill-triggered damage buff means your already-powerful crits become even more lethal during chain-kill sequences.

For build optimization, Executioner's Aim is particularly valuable with slow, high-damage weapons like heavy clubs, where each individual swing carries tremendous weight and a critical hit can outright eliminate weaker enemies. Halberds also benefit significantly, as their sweeping attacks can potentially crit on multiple targets when combined with Momentum. The Pikeman's Armor set provides the survivability needed to stay in melee range and keep swinging.
