Cooking Fire

The Cooking Fire is the dedicated food preparation station that unlocks the full range of cooking recipes in the game. While the Bonfire can handle basic meals, the Cooking Fire is required for advanced dishes that provide powerful stat buffs, healing over time, and stamina regeneration. It can be further enhanced with two upgrades: the Cutting Table and the Cookware Shelf.

The Cutting Table upgrade unlocks recipes that require ingredient preparation, such as filleted fish and diced vegetables. The Cookware Shelf adds access to stews, soups, and other complex multi-ingredient dishes with stronger and longer-lasting buff effects. Both upgrades are well worth the material investment.

Build the Cooking Fire early and upgrade it as materials become available. Place it under a roof near your food storage for efficiency. Cooked meals are essential for every build; tanks benefit from HP-boosting food, fencers from stamina recovery dishes, and healers from recipes that enhance regeneration. Pair the Cooking Fire with ingredients processed at the Millstone for the most advanced recipes.
