As the chest slot offers the most defense, the Privateer's Doublet is the cornerstone of this build. The complete set provides +10% crit chance and +10% crit damage per enemy in proximity, which scales remarkably well in dense encounters. Upgrade the Doublet at the Upgrading Station as a priority, and equip rings or amulets from the Jewellery Table that further boost critical statistics. Combined with area-of-effect weapon skills and crit-focused talents, this set can output extraordinary burst damage.
