Hewn Stone is a processed building material created by shaping raw Stone at the Workbench. It represents a refinement over rough Stone, offering a more polished and structurally sound component for advanced construction and high-tier crafting stations.

Craft Hewn Stone at the Workbench using 3 Stone per unit. Since Stone is abundant and easy to gather from rock formations across all biomes, producing Hewn Stone in large batches is straightforward. A single focused mining session can yield enough Stone for dozens of Hewn Stone blocks.

Hewn Stone is a key ingredient in constructing the Large Smelting Furnace and the Enchanting Table, both of which are critical mid-to-late-game stations. It also appears in various advanced building recipes. Because these stations require significant quantities, stockpile Hewn Stone well before you plan to build them.
