The Large Smelting Furnace is an advanced version of the standard Smelting Furnace, capable of processing rare and exotic ores that the basic model cannot handle. Its most notable output is Mire Metal Ingot, a high-tier material used in the strongest weapons, armor, and enchanted equipment in the game.

Building and operating this furnace requires a substantial investment in materials and fuel. Like the basic Smelting Furnace, it must be placed outdoors. The Large Smelting Furnace does not replace its smaller counterpart; instead, it supplements it by handling the advanced ores that appear in later-game zones and dungeons.

Construct the Large Smelting Furnace once you begin encountering rare ore deposits in mid-to-late game areas. Place it near your Charcoal Kiln and ore storage for efficient operation. The Mire Metal Ingots it produces feed into top-tier recipes at the Weaponsmith, Armor and Clothing Workshop, and Enchanting Table, making it essential for endgame gear optimization.
